After 148 days Chelsea finally have a good chance to take revenge on Liverpool. Liverpool knocked Chelsea out of UEFA Champions league (in the semi finale) last season on its way to winning an unexpected fifth title.
Revenge, pride and two very different managers will take centre stage at Anfield when Liverpool and Chelsea meet in the Champions League today at 20:45 CET.
Mourinho and his Liverpool counterpart Rafa Benitez might come from the same region of Europe, but their personalities are poles apart.
Mourinho is confident Portuguese who won the UEFA Cup and Champions League with Porto, and then took Chelsea to its first English title in 50 years.
Benitez is a quiet Spaniard whose UEFA Cup win at Valencia was followed by Liverpool’s European Cup success.
