Qualified teams for the World Cup

Qualification for the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany is almost over.

There are just five more places for the finals in Germany which will start on June 9. Play-offs will be played on 12 and 16 November.

EUROPE
Read our previous post.

SOUTH AMERICA
Uruguay go into a two-legged play-off with Australia.

ASIA
Bahrain will play against Trinidad and Tobago for a World Cup place.

OCEANIA
Australia beat the Solomon Islands 9-1 on aggregate in their two-legged play-off. They will play Uruguay.

CONCACAF (North and Central America and Caribbean)
Trinidad and Tobago will face Bahrain in a two-legged play-off for a place in Germany.

Already qualified teams: Germany, Argentina, Japan, Iran, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, USA, Brazil, Mexico, Angola, Togo, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Holland, Poland, England, Croatia, Italy, Tunisia, Portugal, Ecuador, Paraguay, Costa Rica, France, Sweden, Serbia and Montenegro.
