Beckham - We can win for Owen
After Newcastle striker Michael Owen seriously injureed his knee, only a minute into a tuesday 2:2 draw with Sweeden, David Beckham vowed to lead England to World Cup wictory.
The players would like to win it for Michael without a doubt. That’s what we felt at halftime when we came in and were told by the doctors and physios that it was a bad one. There was a lot of negative stuff thrown at him but Michael is fine. He is a confident player. He has not had the best of years and it is upsetting for him.We all feel for him.
