That’s not an extension, that’s a completely new browser install. Why in the world don’t they offer a normal Firefox extension file? I’m not going to install some custom version of Firefox when I already have the browser installed. That’s just bizarre.

The FAQ makes it sound like a normal Firefox extension, but it seems to be Google’s custom Firefox build instead with the extension prepackaged. Pity. If they had an XPI file I’d install it in a heartbeat.

I disagree with you.I have installed it and it looks like normal Firefox extension. You can disable, uninstall it,… from Tools -> Extensions menu. What changes will the Joga.com Companion make to my current Firefox settings?

Strange. When I clicked the link I got somethign called ff-companion.exe When I run it it launches what looks like the Mozilla 1.1 installer like it’s going to install a browser. I cancelled out of the installer since I didn’t want to overwrite my install. But then the extension showed up in my existing browser install anyway! OoooK I’ll take it. It’s pretty cool.
