Adidas Golden Ball goes to Zinedine Zidane
The midfield maestro Zinedine Zidane won the adidas Golden Ball at the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany. Despite he was sent from the field, for butting Marco Materazzi in the chest, French No. 10 was voted the best player at 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany.
The Silver Ball went to Italy’s defensive player Fabio Cannavaro and the Bronze Ball to his team-mate Andrea Pirlo.
