Brazil World Cup fansToday we can look forward to a thriller as reigning champions Brazil open their World Cup campaign against Croatia. Can we expect Brazil’s big 4 – Ronaldhino, Ronaldo, Adriano and Kaká – to come out firing or will Croatia be able to hold off their advances?

Brazil vs Croatia is possibly the most eagerly awaited match of the opening games. The WC favourites and defending champs have lifted the cup 5 times and are expected to walk away from their opener with an easy win.

Bundesliga’s opera house

Known nationwide as the Bundesliga’s opera house, the Westfalenstadion was originally built for the 1974 FIFA World Cup. No fewer than 1.4 million spectators thronged to Germany’s biggest stadium in 2004-5, making an average of over 77,000 and a Bundesliga and European record.

Check out the Berlin Olympic Stadium, which will host the 2006 World Cup finale, on Google Maps. If you look closer you can see how they water the grass. Great shot!
