Spain to win the World Cup
In the year 1555, the most famous fore-teller Nostradamus, predicted that the Spanish team will win the World Cup 2006.
Nostradamus wrote:
Spanish king and his army will cross over the Pyrenees at the end of the sixth month of the sixth year. The king will win the battle with Beelzebub on the fields of Central Europe, and the army will return the Holy Grail to Spain.
The Spanish journalists interpreted the prediction in the following way:
Mines to cut power during World Cup
Gold Fields, Africa’s second biggest gold producer after South Africa, was told to temporarily cut power usage at its two mines in Ghana during the World Cup as thousands of televisions sucked up power.
Terence Goodlace, head of international operations announced:
We were asked to cut down on our power use during the World Cup… it was a formal letter that came through.
